Over time we have come up with a flawless step-by-step design process, beginning with our clients' s vision and collaboration with our friendly and professional team to guide our customer each step of the way.

 Design Process:

Research and Concept Development

We want to understand your priorities and vision: The role of the new uniforms within your working environment and of course the look and feel of what you want to achieve.

We take into account the interiors of your business, the inspiration, the climate, your staff. All this will be researched and a concept will be created with your business at the heart of the design. We will agree a brief that includes a list of departments and staff roles that require uniforms. Of course some initial concepts may change as the design progresses.

Design

We will offer you design options for each uniform concept. This usually involves a number of styles with varying colours, fabrics and silhouettes for you to choose from. Our design process focuses on both the style and the fabric selection. We will discuss all options with you and agree which styles, fabrics and accessories you prefer.

Garment Samples

The next step is the creation and presentation of garment prototypes. Any changes will be agreed and incorporated into a further set of samples or directly into garment production.

Wearer Trial-Testing

A vital stage in the development, this process involves the technical testing of fabrics and wearer trial of garments at your location. This process involves the wearing of prototypes by a selection of staff from different departments and areas in their intended work environment. DressCode will normally recommend undertaking a wearer trial to ensure that every uniform is fit for purpose and feedback from staff enables the successful introduction of new concepts. On new opening projects, wearer trials are not always possible and we adjust our process accordingly.

Manufacturing

All of our uniform garments are manufactured to high quality and ethical standards. Garments are quality checked by DressCode during the manufacturing process and and before they are approved for shipping. Your new uniforms will then packed and delivered to your premises.

Delivery and Uniform Launch

A DressCode manager will be available to assist in the Uniform launch at your location. The new look can attract valuable publicity and boost employee morale and productivity.
